Getting a great deal on a new car, and the dealer is desperately trying to make it back up with dealer applied finish for $995. Wait, now 795. Last chance, today only 595 employee pricing.

No. I don’t want it.

Don’t forget to load up on service plans and extended warranties.

I wonder if that stuff even works? And does it need reapplication? To me it sounds like just a really overpriced wax. Would much rather take the $600 and buy that much Carnauba wax from my favorite company of choice. That would surely be enough to cover waxing the car for the next 20 or 30 years lol.

tell them fuck it you’re not buying the car because the finance guy won’t shut the fuck up and let you just buy the car.

Had this conversation a number of times before:

If it’s so great why didn’t they install it at the factory? So you're saying you all cheaped out on the paint even though you knew there was something better out there? Where else did you cheap out?

That gets very annoying. When we were purchasing my wife’s car there finance guy kept trying to push the extended warranty on us. At the end he leans forward and says “I’ll tell you what, you guys seem like a nice couple, I’ll give it to you for xxx amount, this is employee pricing and is a great deal.” A barrage of words filled my head to say to this clown. I don’t remember what I said exactly but he got the point.
